The protein shake market is crowded with products that lean heavily on synthetic flavourings, artificial sweeteners, and ingredients lists that require a degree in food science to navigate. Freja's approach is almost disarmingly simple: four ingredients, all recognisable, built around a foundation of bone broth rather than whey or isolated plant proteins.
That foundation matters. Bone broth is one of the oldest forms of concentrated nourishment — valued across cultures for the collagen, gelatine, glycine, amino acids, and minerals it yields through slow, careful preparation. Freja sources their broth from grass-fed, pasture-raised Nordic cattle, and the result is a protein base that brings with it not just 14g of protein per 25g serving, but 13g of naturally occurring collagen — a structural protein with well-documented relevance to skin, joint, and gut health that a standard whey or pea protein simply doesn't provide. All of this at just 95 calories per serving.
Where many vanilla-flavoured supplements rely entirely on synthetic flavouring to do the work, Freja's version uses real Madagascan vanilla bean powder — the same provenance that appears throughout the best-quality food and baking ranges, and the detail that separates a vanilla that tastes genuinely warm and rounded from one that tastes merely sweet. Coconut sugar provides a light, clean sweetness with a lower glycaemic index than refined sugar, and the absence of stevia, sucralose, or any other artificial sweetener means the flavour has none of the aftertaste that tends to follow them. The result is a shake that is quietly excellent as a daily ritual — particularly blended with cold oat milk, stirred into coffee, or used as a base for fruit smoothies where a clean, unfussy background note is exactly what's needed.

How To Use
Mix one 25g serving with 200–250ml of cold water, oat milk, or your preferred plant-based milk. For the smoothest result, blend in a blender, shake well in a protein shaker, or whisk thoroughly. Particularly good blended with cold oat milk or stirred into coffee. Can also be used as a base for fruit smoothies or added to porridge for a protein and collagen boost. Best served cold.
