APOTHECARY 27 — TERMS & POLICIES

Last updated: 30 June 2026

This page sets out the terms on which you may use the Apothecary 27 website (the "Website"), the terms on which we sell our products to you, and how we collect and use your personal information. It is split into three parts: Part A — Terms of Use, Part B — Terms of Sale, and Part C — Privacy & Cookie Policy.

In these policies, "Apothecary 27", "we", "us" and "our" refers to Apothecary 27 Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10562748), whose registered office is at 71–73 Wey Hill, Haslemere, Surrey GU27 1HN, United Kingdom. You can contact us at any time at hello@apothecary27.com.

PART A — TERMS OF USE

1. Acceptance of terms 1.1 By accessing or using the Website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Eligibility 2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use this Website or to purchase products from it. Some of our products are age-restricted and are sold only to customers aged 18 or over.

3. Use of the Website 3.1 You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Medical disclaimer 4.1 The content on this Website is provided for general information only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. 4.2 Our products are food supplements. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional before starting any supplement — particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or under medical supervision.

5. Purchases 5.1 These Terms of Use govern your use of the Website. Any order you place for products is also subject to our Terms of Sale (Part B below), which set out delivery, pricing, payment and your cancellation and return rights as a consumer.

6. User accounts 6.1 To access certain features you may need to register for an account. You are responsible for keeping your account details, including your password, confidential, and for all activity under your account. 6.2 You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

7. Content and intellectual property 7.1 All content on the Website — including text, graphics, images, logos and other materials — is owned by or licensed to Apothecary 27 and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. 7.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or otherwise use any content from the Website without our prior written consent.

8. User conduct 8.1 You agree not to engage in any activity that may disrupt, damage or interfere with the security or functioning of the Website.

9. Limitation of liability 9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided "as is", and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Website and its content. 9.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Governing law 10.1 These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these Terms 11.1 We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes take effect when posted on the Website, and the "last updated" date above will be revised.

12. Contact 12.1 For any questions about these Terms of Use, contact us at hello@apothecary27.com.

PART B — TERMS OF SALE

These Terms of Sale apply to all orders for products placed through the Website. Please read them before you order.

1. About us 1.1 The Website is operated by Apothecary 27 Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

  • Company number: 10562748

  • Registered office: 71–73 Wey Hill, Haslemere, Surrey GU27 1HN

  • VAT number: GB 262 7527 91

  • Email: hello@apothecary27.com

2. The contract between us 2.1 When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We will send an email acknowledging your order, but the contract is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot accept your order (for example, an item is out of stock or there has been a pricing error), we will let you know and refund any payment taken.

3. Eligibility 3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to order from us. By placing an order you confirm that you are 18 or over. We sell all of our products on this basis.

4. Products 4.1 Our products are food supplements and wellness products. Product images and descriptions are for guidance; packaging and ingredients may occasionally vary. Our products are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Please read the label and consult a qualified healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical supervision.

5. Price and payment 5.1 All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay. 5.2 Payment is taken at the time you place your order, through the payment methods shown at checkout. We do not store your full card details. 5.3 We try to ensure all prices are accurate, but if we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel.

6. Delivery 6.1 We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. 6.2 Orders are dispatched once payment has been received and will reach you within 7 days of dispatch — usually within 2 days. 6.3 Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.

7. Your right to cancel (change of mind) 7.1 Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel an order for most items within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason. To cancel, email us at hello@apothecary27.com. 7.2 Where the right applies, you must return the item to us unused and in its original, unopened, sealed condition within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. You are responsible for the cost of return postage for change-of-mind returns. 7.3 Important exception — sealed health and consumable products. For health, hygiene and safety reasons, the change-of-mind right does not apply to supplements, food, drink, CBD and other consumable products once the seal has been opened or the product has been used, and does not apply to perishable goods. This means opened consumables cannot be returned or refunded for a change of mind. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty or damaged (see section 8). 7.4 Where you validly cancel and return eligible items, we will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, using the same payment method you used to order.

8. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items 8.1 If an item arrives broken, damaged, faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund or a free replacement. 8.2 Please email hello@apothecary27.com as soon as possible, and within 30 days of delivery, with your order number and a photo of the issue. You do not need to return a damaged or faulty item — you may dispose of it, and we will send a replacement free of charge or issue a full refund, as you prefer. 8.3 This is in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a fault appears later, please contact us and we will help.

9. Exchanges 9.1 We do not offer exchanges on online orders. Where you are eligible for a refund, we will refund you and you are welcome to place a new order.

10. Refunds 10.1 Refunds are made to the original payment method. The product price (and, where the whole order is cancelled under section 7, the standard delivery cost) will be refunded in line with the timescales above.

11. Our liability 11.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. 11.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12. Governing law 12.1 These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Complaints and contact 13.1 If you have any concerns or wish to make a complaint, please contact us at hello@apothecary27.com and we will do our best to put things right.

PART C — PRIVACY & COOKIE POLICY

1. Who we are 1.1 Apothecary 27 Limited is the "data controller" responsible for your personal information. Our registered office is 71–73 Wey Hill, Haslemere, Surrey GU27 1HN, and you can reach us at hello@apothecary27.com. 1.2 We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); registration number [INSERT ICO REGISTRATION NUMBER].

2. Information we collect 2.1 Information you give us — such as your name, email address, postal/delivery address, phone number and order details when you make a purchase, create an account, sign up to our newsletter or contact us. 2.2 Payment information — card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card details ourselves. 2.3 Information we collect automatically — when you visit the Website we collect technical and usage data such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, and how you interact with our pages, through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5). 2.4 Health-related information — if you choose to share health information with us (for example when asking for product guidance), we treat it as special category data and only use it to respond to you, on the basis of your explicit consent.

3. How we use your information, and our lawful bases We use your information for the following purposes, relying on the lawful bases shown:

  • To process and deliver your orders and provide customer service — performance of a contract with you.

  • To send marketing emails about our products and offers — your consent, or our legitimate interests where you are an existing customer and we are telling you about similar products (you can opt out at any time).

  • To run analytics and advertising, including the Meta Pixel — your consent, given through our cookie banner.

  • To keep the Website secure, prevent fraud, and improve our products and service — our legitimate interests.

  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records — compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Marketing communications 4.1 We will only send you marketing where you have given consent, or where you are an existing customer and the law allows us to contact you about similar products. 4.2 You can withdraw consent or opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or emailing hello@apothecary27.com.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies 5.1 Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies, which are required for the Website and checkout to work. These do not require consent.

  • Analytics and advertising cookies, which are optional and are only set after you give consent through our cookie banner. 5.2 You can accept or reject optional cookies when you first visit, and change your choices at any time through our cookie settings. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.

6. Meta Pixel and advertising 6.1 We use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) on our Website. The Meta Pixel uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your activity on our site — such as pages viewed and products added to basket or purchased. 6.2 We use this to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, to show you relevant ads (including retargeting), and to build custom and lookalike audiences. 6.3 This involves sharing data with Meta, who process it in accordance with their own privacy policy and may act as a separate or joint controller. Meta may transfer and process this data outside the UK. 6.4 We only run the Meta Pixel where you have given consent through our cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time through our cookie settings. To learn more, see Meta's Privacy Policy and adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

7. Sharing your information 7.1 We do not sell or rent your personal information. 7.2 We share it only with trusted third parties who help us run our business, and only as needed — including our website host (Squarespace), our payment provider, our email and marketing platforms, delivery couriers, and advertising and analytics providers such as Meta. These parties are required to keep your information secure and to use it only for the purposes we specify. 7.3 We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

8. International transfers 8.1 Some of our providers (including Squarespace, our payment provider and Meta) are based outside the UK, so your information may be transferred outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement / standard contractual clauses — so that your information remains protected.

9. Data retention 9.1 We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, including to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Order and transaction records are typically kept for at least six years to comply with UK tax law; marketing data is kept until you opt out.

10. Data security 10.1 We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

11. Your rights 11.1 Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;

  • have inaccurate information corrected;

  • have your information erased in certain circumstances;

  • restrict or object to our processing of your information;

  • request portability of your information;

  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent. 11.2 To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@apothecary27.com. We will respond within the time limits set by law. 11.3 You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we'd appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

12. Children 12.1 The Website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy 13.1 We may update this Privacy & Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on the Website, and the "last updated" date above will be revised.

14. Contact 14.1 For any questions about this Privacy & Cookie Policy, or to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@apothecary27.com.
